MORNING KEYNOTE ADDRESS
Violence in Hospitals
This program will provide a discussion on the emergence of violence in hospitals and how to prevent and mitigate workplace violence by taking an honest look at culture and practices to create a prevention plan that addresses weaknesses and build on available resources.

(A) Disclosure Communication
This session will review effective healthcare disclosure and communication strategies/ techniques among healthcare providers, patients and their families/patient advocates.

(B) Simulation in Healthcare
This interactive session will focus on the history of simulation in healthcare, how it developed, why it developed, and current uses of simulation. Participants will be immersed in 3 simulation activities that demonstrate various modalities and uses of simulation. Following this, examples from two successful simulation programs will be shared.

AFTERNOON BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
(A) Worker Safety & Patient Safety in the Age of ACO's: The "New" Safety Crisis
This session will explore how and why worker safety has become healthcare's new safety crisis, and how this relates to ongoing patient safety efforts. The session will also explore how healthcare reform impacts these exposures and risk management plans to address them.

(B) E-Discovery
